Technical Program Manager
Energetiq is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join a dynamic and growing technology company. This role will be responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of new ERP and related business systems. This role requires advanced analytical acumen and solution orientation, possessing critical thinking skills, and the ability to understand manufacturing (OPS) and office (G&A) work processes. While the primary focus will be on ERP, this role may also work with MES, WMS, CAD, PLM, PDM, QMS, and CRM applications.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in implementing or upgrading ERP systems, ideally MS Dynamics, as a leader or core team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mid-sized to large IT projects of high technical and/or organizational complexity, beginning with ERP implementation, manage ERP vendor, support subject matter experts in developing best practices for business processes.
- Establish recommendations for changes to procedures, increasing business performance through multiple improvement pathways. Design possible future states of business flows, including software changes, process improvements and automation, data redesign and people transformation
- Support the necessary processes, systems, and culture for process performance, developing and overseeing metrics for process reporting and improvement, supporting the development of reporting material in a concise and visual manner
- Documenting business requirements and developing business use cases for new business process initiatives and technology enhancements, and providing time and resource estimates, and cost/benefit analyses, for decision-making related to process improvement strategies
- Identify the impact of software releases and changes on current business processes, determining necessary and recommended actions to ensure continued efficient and effective use of business tools and technologies
- Participate in peer review for solutions designed or developed by other team members, consultants/contractors, and vendors
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience implementing, upgrading, programming, and/or supporting ERP systems
- Excellent analytical problem solving and decision-making skills within functional and technical areas, with keen focus on process analysis, efficiency, and standards
- Domain experience in all business functional areas, including but not limited to Accounting, HR, IT, System General Administration, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and Marketing, and Customer Service processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-starter who is self-motivated and goal-driven, able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal guidance or follow-up
- Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, possessing strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in MS Dynamics ERP (AX, F&O/SCM)
- 1-3 years of corporate experience in development using Power Platform and/or SQL, Python, or R
- 2 years practical experience performing analytics using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake
- Certification in LEAN, Six-Sigma, or other process improvement methodology
