Wilmington, MA – October 13, 2026 – Energetiq Technology, Inc. a global leader in advanced light sources for semiconductor, scientific, and industrial applications, today announced the appointment of Vikram Singh, PhD, as Chief Executive Officer. Singh, who has served as President of Energetiq since October 2025, succeeds longtime CEO Debbie Gustafson.
The transition builds on Energetiq’s leadership structure established last year, when Singh was named President with responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations. As CEO, he will continue to lead Energetiq’s growth, innovation, and commitment to delivering high-performance light source solutions for customers around the world.
“Over the past year, Vikram has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a clear vision for Energetiq’s future,” said Gustafson. “While our leadership is transitioning, our commitment to our customers, our people, and the innovative technologies that define Energetiq remains strong.”
Gustafson joined Energetiq in 2005 and became CEO in 2016. Gustafson will serve as President of Photonics Management Corporation (PMC), the North American holding company for Hamamatsu Photonics and continue to serve as a board member of Energetiq.
“I am honored to take on the role of CEO and build on the strong foundation Debbie and the Energetiq team have created,” said Singh. “I am proud of our close partnerships with customers, innovative technologies, talented people, strong culture, and commitment to operational excellence. I look forward to working with our team and colleagues across Hamamatsu to strengthen these advantages and support our customers’ most demanding applications.”
Singh joined Energetiq in 2023 as Vice President and General Manager of the Laser-Driven Light Source (LDLS®) product line and was appointed President in October 2025. He brings more than 25 years of technical, business, and operations experience in materials technology industries, including executive leadership roles at Lam Research and Applied Materials. Singh holds M.S. and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Technology with honors from the Indian Institute of Technology.
