EUV Junior Accountant
Energetiq is seeking a Junior Accountant to join a dynamic and growing technology company. This position will focus heavily on accounts receivable and accounts payable and is an integral role in the Finance & Accounting Department. This role can grow into a general ledger role for the right candidate. This position reports to the Controller.

Billing and collections
- Generate and issue customer invoices
- Apply check and ACH payments to customers’ accounts
- Reconcile intercompany billings and receivables
- Send past due notices to customers
- Respond to customer billing inquiries
Invoice processing
- Enter invoices into Syspro and Concur
- Set up new suppliers in Syspro and Concur
- Send requests to vendors for ACH/W-9 information
- Send ACH/wire remittance to vendors
- Prepare weekly ACH run for review by VP Finance
- Respond to supplier inquiries
- Set up new suppliers and employees in Concur
- Maintain organizational approval limits for expense reports and invoices
- Send monthly reminders for submitting expense and credit card reports
- Send monthly reminders for submitting expense reports
- Follow up with supervisors to ensure reports are approved timely
- Review expense report coding to ensure accurate expense reporting in the GL
- Send monthly reminders for submitting credit card reports
- Follow up with supervisors to ensure reports are approved timely
- Review credit card report coding to ensure accurate expense reporting in the GL
- Reconcile credit card activity to the Amex and BOA statements monthly

- Weekly preparation of the A/R aging, to be reviewed with the Controller
- Monthly reporting on A/R, to include DSO, and analysis of aged customer balances
- Monthly reporting on A/P, to include DPO, and analysis of aged supplier balances
- Monthly account reconciliations for trade A/R and trade A/P
- Assist with monthly financials by providing summary reports for certain accounts
- Heavily support the annual 1099 filing process
- Support the semi-annual review and annual audit
General
- Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, or an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or similar
- Experience using MS Excel
- Experience with a middle- or top-tier ERP system (e.g. Oracle, Dynamics, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical and inquisitive nature
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to balance multiple deliverables and deadlines
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable communicating with all levels and departments in the organization
