Energetiq Technology is excited to announce that as of October 16, 2017, it is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Hamamatsu Photonics.

The acquisition brings Energetiq into the consolidated group of companies that are owned by Photonics Management Corp (PMC), of Bridgewater, NJ (USA) a subsidiary of Hamamatsu Photonics KK of Japan.

Energetiq’s Laser-Driven Light Sources™ (LDLS) have extremely high brightness across the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared spectrum. In addition, Energetiq’s EUV light sources have become an industry standard in the EUV community.

Hamamatsu Photonics is a leading manufacturer of devices for the generation and measurement of visible, infrared, and ultraviolet light. Product lines include photomultiplier tubes, imaging devices, light sources, opto-semiconductors, imaging and analyzing systems.

Combining the pioneering and proprietary technologies of both companies will enable and speed the development of value added products. Hamamatsu and Energetiq envision a future where the collective innovations of each company will result in exciting, novel market offerings.

Joining the Hamamatsu family enables Energetiq to draw upon Hamamatsu’s world-class portfolio of products and technology. In addition, Hamamatsu’s well-established global presence will provide Energetiq with a greater ability to deliver prompt customer service and product support.

Customers of Energetiq can expect no interruptions in service or other major changes, including the people they correspond with at Energetiq. The company will continue to operate under the Energetiq name and the contact information for the company and its employees will remain unchanged.
