Marketing Communications Specialist

Position Summary

The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and effectiveness of marketing communications at Energetiq. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including our parent company on promotional material used to generate and nurture new leads. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career marketer to join a fast-paced organization that values innovation, inclusion, and professional development. The Marketing Communications Specialist will report to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:                                                        

  • Work in close collaboration with global team members from multiple functions including marketing, creative, content to elevate marketing plans and ensure campaigns are meeting objectives

  • Strong writing and editing capabilities, ability to generate content for each stage of the customer journey, adhering to SEO best practices

  • Manage creative development through in-house and external resources to produce content and timely collateral to increase lead generation

  • Ability to describe and explain complex topics that are technical in nature

  • Execute inbound marketing and email campaigns including customer newsletters using Hubspot marketing platform

  • Organizing, researching, and executing logistics for virtual, in-person and hybrid events including support of international subsidiaries in their event programming

  • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and competitor activities

  • Develop robust knowledge of all Energetiq product lines and ability to communicate value and answer frequently asked questions

  • Support product launch activities including the creation of data sheets and product documentation, press releases, etc.

  • Travel to trade shows and events, manage set up and breakdown, converse with customers and prospects during exhibits

  • Identify sponsorship, presentation and speaking opportunities at relevant events

  • Create and report on digital marketing communications such as social media posts and ads including Google search ads

  • Report marketing expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines

  • Document and share lead/customer intelligence, monitor sales follow-up, and analyze the effectiveness of programs on a regular basis

  • Administration of Salesforce CRM database including uploading leads, reporting on opportunities and ensure timely delivery of lead information to global sales team

  • Support internal happenings and communications as needed such as social events, employee resource group (ERG) related meetings, career fairs and newsletters

  • Respond to customer and lead inquiries through email, communicate information to responsible subsidiary/distributor based on geographic region

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field

  • Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing communications principles including advertising and public relations

  • Superb written and oral communication and an aptitude for interpersonal relationship-building and negotiating

  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time with excellent time management

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in high tech B2B marketing a plus

  • Strong eye for graphic design and visual content; video / photography experience is a plus
