  • Represents: Precision, stability, and the quiet work that keeps highperformance light sources running.
  • Signature move:  Always steady, always centered!

Q: Bo, what do you do at Energetiq?

Bo: I’m the mascot who represents the part of the system most people never see — the bore. I stand for the precision and consistency that make Energetiq’s light sources so dependable. While Lampy shows off radiance and uptime, I’m here to highlight the craftsmanship inside the source that keeps everything aligned and performing.

Q: Where did you come from? What inspired your look?

Bo: I’m modeled after the bore assembly that sits at the heart of our EUV systems. It’s a component that doesn’t get much spotlight, but it’s essential for maintaining the tight geometry and stability that engineers rely on. My compact, cylindrical form reflects that purpose: simple, centered, and engineered for consistency.

Q:  You’re known for being steady and unshakeable. Why?

Bo: In semiconductor and advanced research environments, stability is everything. The bore’s job is to maintain the proper conditions for bright, stable broadband light — hour after hour, cycle after cycle. My stance is a reminder of that: unwavering, balanced, and built for long-term performance.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

Bo: I like being the quiet hero. I’m not flashy, but I’m essential. I help people appreciate the parts of the system that make Energetiq’s technology truly special — the engineering details that deliver stability, radiance, and long-term value. Plus, I enjoy keeping Lampy grounded. Every bright light needs a solid foundation.

Q: How do you describe Energetiq's culture?

Bo: We’re a team that values precision, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you’re designing a new component, solving a customer challenge, or joining an ERG meeting, you’re encouraged to bring your full self and your best ideas. Our culture blends serious engineering with genuine care for people — and that balance is what keeps us strong.

Q: Last word.

Bo: If you spot me in a presentation or at a show, you’re about to learn something interesting about how our light sources work. Come say hi — I’m excited to meet customers and help them understand the engineering behind the radiance!
