Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Energetiq Technology, Inc is a small and growing company introducing breakthrough products using Energetiq's light source technologies. Energetiq is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to provide high-level design and analysis services both new product development and existing product support.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in product design from concept through manufacturing release for products requiring:

• Thermal design and analysis

• Vacuum system design

• Electronics packaging

• Opto-mechanical design experience is a plus

• Creation of solid models, assembly, and part detail drawings for fabrication

• DFM - understanding of volume/cost-driven manufacturing technologies

• BOM creation and control using both Excel and our MRP system

• ECN/ECO management and execution

Skills and Requirements:

- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years product design experience
- High level of proficiency in Solidworks/Cosmos required
- Proficiency in analysis tools such as MathCAD, Matlab, or Excel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
